Contact Information

This contact page distinguishes this private reference resource from the Webster County court offices that maintain official case information. Court dates, court records, certified copies, filings, and legal questions must go to the appropriate clerk or court. The contacts below help route County Court and District Court matters to the official custodian.

Not a court or government office. This is a private reference resource. It cannot retrieve an official file, change a court setting, accept a filing, issue a certified copy, seal or remove a record, or provide legal advice. Contact the clerk or the court that holds the case for those services.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Official records and current settings are held by the court, not by this resource. Nebraska JUSTICE is the public statewide case-information and register-of-actions search layer. It can help identify a case and its court. Nebraska eFiling is an authenticated service for filing documents and related notices; it is not a public docket search. Choose the court that holds the case before asking for a copy, date, or case-status confirmation.

  • County Court docket, record, traffic, misdemeanor, probate, juvenile, small claims, or municipal-ordinance matter: contact Jolene Duffy, Clerk Magistrate, Webster County Court, 621 North Cedar, Red Cloud, NE 68970. Phone 402-746-2777 option 4; fax 402-746-2771. Published office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to noon and 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The County Court page provides the official local court information.
  • District Court docket, district civil, domestic-relations, protection-order, felony trial-level, or district appeal matter: contact Abbey Haskins-Harig, District Court Clerk, Webster District Court, 621 North Cedar, P.O. Box 250, Red Cloud, NE 68970. Phone 402-746-2716; fax 402-746-2710; email abbey.harig@nejudicial.gov. The Webster District Court page identifies the local clerk route.
  • A public case search: use Nebraska JUSTICE Case Information to search public case information by the available criteria. The clerk can help confirm the correct court level, a case number, or the copy path when a public result is incomplete.
  • A court date or hearing setting: use the statewide court calendar for a Webster County Court setting, then confirm a live date with the clerk. Webster District Court is not included in that public calendar, so District Court settings require clerk confirmation.
  • A specific document or certified copy: request it from the clerk that keeps the file. Provide the court, county, case number or complete case name, document name, and document date. CC 3:29 is Nebraska's state form for file copies and certified copies; the official copy-request page explains the available delivery choices.

For a request that cannot be completed through the public case search, the clerk can explain the counter, mail, phone, email, fax, public-terminal, or written-request route. Records may be sealed, restricted, confidential, older, or archived, so a court result does not guarantee that every attachment is available. The office holding the original record is the authority for access, scheduling, filing, and court procedure.
